ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: CST, but trying to pin down a consistently active time is like cutting through a block cheddar cheese with the back of a spoon. Pace can range from "literally boomeranging 30 seconds after receiving the email notification" to "next month, and that's generous" so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
BRACKETS/PROSE: I default to first-person brackets but I cut my teeth on forums with third-person prose. Whatever you're comfy with, I'll match
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: I've been around for too long so there isn't much that offends me as far as subjects go. For triggers, I really don't like images of real life snakes. Since this is Pokémon, I also have to tack on the obscure addendum that images of Silicobra and Sandaconda are also no gos (the rest are ironically okay). Sorry fam, I'm just not great with those long bois...
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
NAME: Larry / Aoki; I default to his English localization because how much more normie can a name get?
CANON: Pokémon Scarlet / Violet
CANON POINT: Whenever; we can talk about it!
AGE: There's no listed number, but I put him somewhere between his late thirties and early forties.
VISUAL: Exhausted Salaryman. Look it up on Pinterest.
AURAL: Still trying to figure out a voice I want to sample as his, but imagine flat affect all over the place.
OLFACTORY: Pretty neutral, most of the time. You may occasionally get acrid hints after a recent smoke or booze if he's out drinking.
DEMEANOR: Pokémon is filled to the brim with colorful, over-the-top characters and their grandiose, boisterous personalities. Larry sticks out by being as boring as a Farfetch'd's stick in almost every regard. Compared to the rest of his cast, he should be completely forgettable—and that's exactly why he leaves such a strong impression. He's just a lil' guy, overworked and possibly underpaid.
Like for Arceus' sake the highlight of his day is clocking out of work and ordering a plate ofjelly donuts rice balls how much more relatable can you get???
